TEN Humanity Action II

On September 21, the English Department Student Association (EDSA) conducted one of its annual HRD programs at Panti Asuhan Bumi Moro, Garut, Aceh Besar. The program was dedicated to sharing kindness, love, and support with the children, fostering moments of joy and meaningful connection.

Through this initiative, EDSA aims not only to extend assistance but also to cultivate empathy, strengthen the spirit of solidarity, and highlight the importance of compassion in making a positive impact. Every sincere act of giving has the power to inspire hope and touch countless lives.

BSC 2025

BSC (Blessing Ceremony) is a welcoming event specially held for new students of the English Education Study Program. This event features various exciting activities such as class representative selection, creative group performances, and fun team games.

Through this event, EDSA aims to build strong connections among new students, creating a joyful atmosphere where everyone can share laughter, creativity, and unforgettable moments together.

Today, August 27, 2025, marks an incredible milestone for the English Education Department as we proudly open PBAK 2025!

Essay Workshop

The session themed "Writing a Personal Statement that Gets Noticed" is designed to help students enhance their writing skills by focusing on clarity, organization, and effectiveness. This activity aims to guide participants in crafting well-structured and impactful personal statements for academic purposes, scholarship applications, or other relevant needs.

Led by Phillip Taw, a RELO Fellow at Universitas Negeri Surabaya, the session offers valuable insights and practical strategies, along with the opportunity for students to receive direct feedback to refine their work and make their statements stand out in competitive selection processes.

Lecturer Talk

This event is designed to provide valuable insights for students, particularly those in the English Education (PBI) program, by highlighting the experiences of lecturers who have studied or taught in European countries. Through personal stories, the lecturers will discuss their educational journeys, the challenges of adapting to different academic systems, and the cultural experiences they encountered abroad. The event also serves as a platform to promote greater awareness of global educational trends and encourage participants to embrace the opportunities and diversity found in international education, especially in the context of increasing globalization.

EDSA Kareem

In the spirit of Ramadan, the English Department Student Association (EDSA) organized EDSA Kareem, an initiative dedicated to sharing blessings with those in need and bringing warmth to the community. Through this meaningful event, we aimed to nurture togetherness and celebrate the true essence of generosity.

Iftar Charity

Iftar Charity is a meaningful iftar event with orphans from YAKESMA (Yayasan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat Aceh), with an agenda of educational games and inspirational lectures.

EDSA x MEBY

The MEBY (Make Everyone Better Youth) Community together with EDSA (English Department Student Association) proudly presents an interactive and enjoyable English education program for elementary school students in East Lamteumen during the month of Ramadan. This program is designed to enhance children's English communication skills, foster enthusiasm for learning, and strengthen their language foundation so they can confidently use English in their daily lives.
